Students may access HyperWorks in one of the following ways:
1. Talk to your professor, supervisor or the people from the IT department and check whether your department (university) has already licensed HyperWorks (which is quite likely). You may use available licenses while being in the campus network, “from outside” through VPN or by borrowing licenses from the campus server. They’ll let you know how what to do …
2. You may purchase (in fact, it is freely available currently) the HyperWorks 11.0 Student Edition
3. You may contact your local Altair office or submit an “Information Request Form” for other alternatives and help – please don’t hesitate.

Dear Mr. Potts,
Thank you very much for your interest in HyperWorks.
The Student Version based on HyperWorks 11.0 will be made available soon.
However, we may be able to provide you a temporary HyperWorks 10.0 license.
Are you already using HyperWorks?
May I also ask from which university / country you are?
Best regards
Matthias Goelke
P.S.: Please note, I am leaving for the weekend now…

Dear Mr. Sri Ram,
Not quite sure whether you are aware f it already – the Student Edition is released. You’ll find mire information about it in the Academic Blog–>Students.
As a special release offer, the first 200 subcribers in the Altair Store (that’s where the software is located) receive a free copy.
Best regards
Matthias
